Video Dance Performances

This is an advanced Pro Am Rumba SHOW DANCE routine (open level) performed by John Howardson ( John Howardson Dance ) and his dance student Jana. At the time of performing, Jana had almost zero ballroom dance experience, but was an experienced dancer from other styles (modern, ballet, jazz, etc… ). John Howardson put this routine together over about 10 to 15 lessons to meet the performance deadline, which was a bit of a rush, to say the very least, for such a long pro am dance routine. With a little more time, the routine could have been polished up a bit more. All said and done though, Jana’s performance got the highest mark of all the pro am dance students in the event that night, and it was great fun. Enjoy !
